The Alpha Pet Single (AS65GDBY0) is the workhorse of LG's pet range. It covers 61.2 m2 — enough for a large living room or an open-plan living and dining area. The 360-degree V-Pet H13 filter wraps around the entire unit, pulling air from every direction.

The V-Pet filter is specifically designed for higher dander and fur load. It includes a reinforced pre-filter layer that catches floating fur before it reaches the HEPA stage, extending the HEPA filter's effective lifespan. The Clean Booster on top circulates purified air up to 7.5 metres, reaching corners that passive purifiers miss.

The Alpha Pet Double (AS10GDBY0) is the dual-stack version of the Alpha Pet Single. Two V-Pet H13 filters stacked vertically give it a CADR of 810 CMH — more than double the single unit — and coverage for rooms up to 104 m2.

If you have multiple pets, a large open-plan home, or a double-storey layout with an open staircase, this is the model that can handle the air volume. The dual Clean Booster pushes purified air across the full space, and the 4-step LED indicator (red/orange/yellow/green) gives you a visual read on real-time air quality.

The Alpha Pet Double also includes Baby Care mode — relevant for households with both pets and young children, where managing dander exposure is especially important. PM1.0 dust sensors and gas sensors provide the most granular air quality monitoring in the LG range.

V-Pet filter vs standard H13 HEPA: what is the difference?

The V-Pet H13 filter used in the Alpha Pet range and AeroCatTower uses the same H13 HEPA media (99.97% capture at 0.3 microns) as the standard range. The difference is in the pre-filter layer and the deodorisation layer:

Tips for pet owners using an air purifier

Place it where your pet spends the most time. If your cat sleeps on the sofa, put the purifier near the sofa. If your dog's bed is in the corner, position the unit within 3 metres. Proximity to the dander source matters more than being in the centre of the room.
